A lightly-clad figure wandered throughout the clubbing district, haphazardly skipping from one blaringly-loud building to the next, seemingly searching for something he had not yet found. This elusive thing was entertainment. Xander rubbed his eyes blearily after the sixth club frequented, finding only pompous hipsters and some sort of remixed eighties tune. He scuffed his black DC shoes slightly against the sidewalk with each half-hearted step, teal eyes downcast, watching each leg of his dark navy jeans rise and fall with each step. "Bored.." he muttered, full lips turned slightly downwards in the epitome of a teenage pout. It was a shame, really. Xander had been hoping to find something fun in this town, and it was apparent from his erratic path and sideways glances at street names that he was brand new in this city. The bright lights shone illuminated his pale face and vaguely wrinkled white v-neck t-shirt, and made his curled, chestnut hair gleam darkly. He threw his head back and made a face at yet another couple in their twenty-somethings making out, sitting on the kerb, the silver celtic cross on his cord necklace flashing brightly in the brief exposure of his neck to the floodlights before being taken by darkness again. A stainless steel earring, the image of a screw twisted into his right ear, glinted so often when not obscured by his hair, and he headed into one last club, his hopes for a decent place dwindling. However, he was not to be disappointed - the DJ blared out "You Are My Sun" by Vitalic, and everyone in the large space (it seemed to had been a warehouse in a past life) was dancing wildly, neon glowsticks twirling in the dark, dark club, which was lit only by strobe lights which made certain parts of the crowd appear and disappear irregularly. Even more powerful than the pounding noise and the visual chaos was the smell of beer, sweat and sex - a smell which certainly interested Xander, as it did all boys and girls at that hormonal stage. Edging past a group of ravers who seemed to be having a small orgy on the dirty, tiled floor, Xander managed to get to the bar and ordered a vodka and Red Bull. [/color]

Pete walked into the Rave Club. He loved coming here, they actually played good music. Unlike the other clubs in the area, he couldn’t stand them. They were boring, and played shitty music. He didn’t know how anyone could actually stay there and listen to it. He walked in and out of those clubs so fast, it wasn’t funny. He looked around, looking for anyone or something that interested him. He wasn’t looking to feed for once, he was looking for fun. Whether it was a guy or girl, tonight he didn’t care. He just wanted fun. He loved being a mind reader, he could tell what everyone thought of him. Alright, Pete would admit it, he could be extremely vain. But that was because he was hot, or so he thought. Plenty of people affirmed his beliefs, he didn’t care that he was surrounded by humans, if he wanted sex, that was what he would be getting, whether feeding would be involved with it, he didn’t know. He just wasn’t looking to feed.
He smiled as he walked behind the Bar. He could work here if he wanted, he knew the owner and had ‘talked’ to them. They said that if they had any rushes he could work, and not get paid, but drink whatever he wanted. He smiled at everyone that had actually made it to the bar through all of the people. He knew how bad that could be. He looked at a boy, around what looked like his age, but he was well over 100. He hated being a vampire at times, he couldn’t have kids, he couldn’t have a girlfriend, without watched them die, unless he turned them, and he didn’t want to start a vampire family. He wanted real family, with little kids and pets, but animals couldn’t stand vampires. They knew what they were and barked or ran away. ‘Vodka and Redbull’. He loved that combination himself, but he wouldn’t drink much alcohol. It drained his body faster, he usually went for the energy drinks.
He smiled as he handed the boy his drinks. He thought he was cute, but he wouldn’t try anything on a guy, unless they did to him first. He hated hitting on a guy, then later told that they were straight. It pissed him off. He hated guys or girls leading on people. It was wrong. And that happened to be one of the reasons why he hated humans. They were such teases.

Sitting on one of the modern-styled bar stools, Xander rested his elbows on the slightly-sticky counter and rested his head in his hands. Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply and enjoyed the electronic dance tune coming from the many powerful speakers dotted around the club. It kinda reminded him of a club back in Cork, Freakscene, an alternative club where they always had decent music and decent liqour. He felt a pang of loneliness at that brief memory, but quickly covered it up inside, opening his eyes and seeing a new guy come in behind the bar. Xander's gaze slowly wandered up and down the guy's body, then resettled on the bar counter, a slight flush on his cheeks. He was definitely good looking, almost unnaturally so.
Returning the smile that the bartender gave him, Xander took his drink and sipped at it thoughtfully, enjoying the mixed taste of the bitterness of the vodka and the sweetness of the Red Bull. He felt a familiar burn down his throat, the trademark of a good drink, as the golden drink swirled down his throat, his tastebuds delighted. He sighed audibly, with a definite hint of satisfaction, but not over-dramatically so.
"Hey.." Xander began, Irish accent thicker than when the night had begun, as he was after quite a few drinks by now. "What's there to do in this city? I've just blown in.." Xander gave his most charming smile to the bartender, one of slight vunerability, a trick he had picked up a few years ago. "I'm Xander, by the way.."

Pete was listening to the boys memories, and thoughts. He had been to a club like this, but Pete bet that he hadn’t been to one like Fangtasia, that was a one of a kind club, that was only in Chicago. He didn’t know of any others around the world, but that’s because Mira could and would handle any fights that broke out between the races. Pete smiled when thinking about Mira, and her new Dog. Well it was her boyfriend but he was a fucking werewolf for crying out loud. He would never date a werewolf, or a witch. He couldn’t see himself doing it. He could see himself killing Naturi, but dating one would be terrible, he would be marked as a traitor. He wouldn’t be able to do anything that he would want to, since everyone would want to kill him. He had dated countless humans though. Humans just died, or he got bored of them, he just wished that he could find another girlfriend, or boyfriend for that matter.
Pete smiled the boy thought that he was good looking. And unnaturally so. Pete smiled even more. He loved compliments, whether the person said them or thought them, Pete loved them. Pete smiled as the boy talked. Irish accent clearly distinguishable. “Hey,” He replied back. “Well theres plenty of clubs to attend to, but otherwise, were mostly a nightlife place. I could show you why, but Then I’d get into trouble” Pete said smiling. He loved dragging humans to Fangtasia an having him be questioned, and he would claim ‘Their mine, leave them alone’ and nothing else, he also wouldn’t let them leave his side, it would be dangerous if they walked around on their own. Pete actually hadn’t attended Fangtasia in a few months, he had no good humans to play with there. Or at least no one to go there for. ‘Xander’ What a cute name, Pete thought. “I’m Pete” Pete replied back, he could tell that he might have a fun night tonight.

"Trouble? Why, I love trouble...!" Xander grinned, his eyes once more itching to slide down Pete's body, Xander's mind was certainly being dirty tonight. He carefully pushed one stray lock of hair behind his ear, then took another sip of his drink, carefully swirling it around his tongue before finally swallowing it. He loved the buzz that alcohol gave him, and was better at holding it than most people. However, there was a slight nagging feeling in his mind, that maybe Pete was even.. dangerous? He couldn't put his mind on it, but there was something about the bartender that made Xander feel almost scared. However, that just made him more intrigued, and he moved slightly closer to the bar counter, knees resting on the steel panelling.
"So, would you let me buy you a drink?" he asked, feigning innocence, just in case Pete turned out to be homophobic, or something. If that was the case, he could always laugh it off, and say it was a friendly gesture. His eyes quickly flashed to Pete's eyes, noticing with slight unease their colour. Just contacts.. he thought, logically enough, but the nagging feeling increased. Xander tried his best to stifle it, instead turning his attention to the small group which he had passed earlier. He noted with approval that their clothes were still on, but that turned to wonder. He frowned momentarily - the people here were strange.
Waiting for Pete's answer, he slid the soles of his shoes against the ground, then looked up quickly. "Pete's a nice name." he muttered, almost inaudibly.

Pete smiled. So he loved trouble. This might be fun, he probably would one day bring Xander to Fangtasia, and tell him all about himself, why he worked at the bar, why he did what he did, and everything else about him. Pete didn’t want to freak out Xander by making him know that Pete could read him thoughts, so he tried not to, even though it wouldn’t help. He could hear everyone’s thoughts like if they were said. Pete heard the thought that he may be dangerous and frowned. He hated how everyone got that feeling. No matter who it was. He had turned around to get another person’s order, he also didn’t want Xander to see his mood change. That wouldn’t be good, cause then, Xander might wonder why it changed.
Pete laughed when Xander asked him if he could buy Pete a drink. Pete guess that Xander didn’t know that he got free drinks, but anyways, he wouldn’t want to be rude to the cute boy. ”Yeah,” Pete started ”But I could get you one” Pete said once again smiling, while handing the person standing next to Xander their drink. He loved being a bar tender, it was so much fun, or so he though. Pete smiled as Xander commented about his name, obviously either not wanting him to hear, or just that he hopes he wouldn’t.

Xander grinned at hearing Pete's laughter, which he found himself liking immensely. He blushed a little at that fact, this wasn't like himself at all, he felt comfortable in this man's presence and indeed, wanted to be in his presence a little more. At that thought, he blushed even more, cheeks going a pale pink colour, which he then tried to suppress. No, what had gotten into him? The nineteen year old was usually not drawn to people like this, especially guys, whom he regarded as nothing more than a quick fuck oppurtunity.
Xander smiled hugely at Pete's offer. "Really? You're far too kind.." Xander laughed, pleased he had chosen to talk to the bartender in the first place. A free drink, and good company.. what more could one want, especially when new in town? "But, anyways... I'm interested in you." he continued, teal eyes fixed on Pete's crimson ones. "Tell me about yourself, I'm curious." Leaning back comfortably in his stool, he noted with slight pleasure that, although they were surrounded by patrons, Xander seemed to be the only one that Pete was having an actual conversation with. Laying a hand upon his chest, he began to fidget with the celtic cross pendant, enjoying the feel of the cool metal between his fingers, the nails of which were bitten.
Sneaking another quick look at the bartender, Xander returned to his drink, this time downing it all in one go, like he was trying to impress the male in front of him. Although he spluttered a little as the drink swirled down in a crescendo of bitterness and burning, Xander managed to keep a straight face, and deftly placed the glass upon the counter again. He was definitely on his way to becoming intoxicated - sounds and colours were beginning to take on a delightful blur, and his head felt warm and fuzzy.

Pete smiled at the boy. He wasn’t acting like himself at all either. He was being rather nice, but it was because he wanted to change. He began to realize that not all humans were evil like he thought, or was led to believe. Pete smiled more as the boy blushed. He found it cute, he went and grabbed another Vodka and Red Bull, putting it under the counter, for him, and grabbed another, knowing that the boy would want that. ”Its no trouble really,” He said smiling. He knew that the boy would want something else to drink after this, but he didn’t care, they had everything behind the counter, because Pete demanded it. ”Im interested in you too” He said smiling. Hopefully this boy wasn’t just playing along, otherwise he would do something drastic. He hated people who played along to hurt people, but Pete didn’t think that Xander was like that. Well he hoped he wasn’t.
Pete smiled as he asked about him. ”Well I’m 19. Kinda young to be working here, but I got connections. So it worked out, I demand that they keep every drink stocked in here, and since I don’t get paid, I get free drinks. As many as I want, its amazing, even though they don’t want me drinking alcohol much, because they don’t want me to get drunk I don’t care” He started telling him how he got the job, but left out tiny details like he’s over 19, He got the job by blackmail and that he was a vampire, but he would tell him that at a later time. He didn’t want to scare him off too soon. Pete just barely hit 100 Years, he was extremely young for a vampire, but he was an Elder. He had earned that spot though, not by age, but by choice. He had been asked to be the Elder, and accepted. Although he did nothing because he was way to lazy, he still tried.
Pete quickly handed another customer a order while he began working on another in front of Xander, he still had to do work, whether he wanted to or not. He hated how the other bar tender was a girl, and at that a rude human girl. If it was a vampire then maybe they would have gotten along but nope. She had to be extremely rude to everyone, and she hated him for being 19 and being able to work behind the bar. He watched as Xander played with a Celtic Cross. Thankfully Crosses didn’t hurt them like everyone thought that they did. ”I tend to drink Energy Drinks though, Their amazing,” He said while he handed the customer behind Xander the drink that they had ordered, making Pete lean closer to Xander. Pete smiled as Xander downed his drink, he could tell that he was trying to impress him. Pete knew he could fight back better. He heard his partner bartender yell out an order, picking up a mixing glass he put in ice, vodka, and rum. Waiting till it was shaken up, he put it on the counter in front of Xander and took one of the sprayers and filled the rest of the glass smiling at the boy, he quickly poured it into their cups that were from the club, sliding it down the counter to the customer. ”But I love this other club, its called Fangtasia. Have you ever heard of it?” He questioned, if the boy had, he would be in trouble, because that meant that he knew about the other species and he now knew that Pete wasn’t human.
Pete could tell that Xander was getting drunk. He leaned down towards the boy, with the vodka and red bull in his hand. “Now should I give this to you?” He said smiling. He loved how the boy was almost drunk, another one of the drinks and he would. “Or should I not? But you would get drunk, and we wouldn’t want that now would we?” Pete asked, he knew that he could drink as much as he wanted and not get drunk. He pulled out his drink from under the counter and took a drink out of it, before placing it next to Xander’s drink.

A faint smile played at his lips when Pete said that he was interested in Xander. The blush stayed on his cheeks, despite his attempts to suppress it, and he began to feel a little bit flustered. He chewed on his lip slightly – what was he doing, acting like some sort of school girl? He was nineteen, a legal adult, for Christ’s sake. His teal eyes straying upwards to meet Pete’s eyes once more, he felt an overwhelming urge of desire flood him, and he quickly let his eyes fall to the counter again. It’s just the smell, the music.. he thought desperately, and almost believed it to be true, as right now the DJ was playing “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails, a song that always made Xander feel like.. well, feel like a fifteen year old boy again, in all the wrong ways. He suppressed that feeling, too, although it was as hard as the blush to cover up.
Xander listened intently to Pete’s history, eyes scanning the man’s face as he took in his different expressions when he spoke about different parts, drinking them in, half-smitten with the boy already. Or maybe that was just the alcohol talking, but either way, he didn’t really care. He had an overwhelming urge to reach out and touch Pete’s face, and his hand lifted from its prior position, but he quickly checked himself and made it look like he was just stretching. When Pete told him his age, Xander smiled broadly, he had believed that the bartender was at least a year older than him, and was pleased that he was the same age as the bartender. We’re the same age, that’s one thing in common.. he idly mused, but his dreamy state was interrupted by the sharp retort of a girl working behind the bar, looking like she was twenty seven, dressing like she was seventeen. He snorted slightly, What a bitch. The woman was ordering customers around, behaving as though she were at least twenty times better and more intelligent than them, despite the fact that most of the patrons were probably earning three times her salary.
Edging out of the way of another customer as Pete handed them their drink, Xander felt quite happy to be sharing his thoughts and time with the black-haired bartender. He’s really cute, too.. Xander thought, thinking back to Pete’s laugh, watching him mix up a drink expertly. He smiled unavoidably as he felt Pete lean closer to him, inhaling his scent deeply, almost dizzy by how good he smelled. He was shaken out of his state by Pete’s question.
“Fangtasia? Nawh, I’ve never heard of it.. sounds intriguing though.” And indeed it did, anything with a name as dark as that was guaranteed to be of some entertainment. Xander supposed it was just an underground kinda club, and that excited him somewhat, the notion of anything “underground” being foreign and therefore interesting to him. Grinning sweetly, he moved closer to Pete as Pete practically teased him with the drink before him. “I’m not a bad drunk.. in fact, I’m rather affectionate..” Xander was immediately embarrassed by the cheesy come-on line he had just delivered, but the alcohol in his system soothed his nerves, and made him more daring. He wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.

Pete smiled as he recalled liking the fact that Pete like Xander. “I think when you blush its cute” Pete said smiling. He knew that this would probably embarrass the boy, but its was cute. He was cute. Pete smiled as he tried to blame it on the music. It wasn’t he knew it. Both of the two were falling for the other. Pete could tell that Xander was listening to him when he was telling about his history. He hated telling people it, because he had to leave out stuff if they were human and didn’t know about vampires and the likes. He actually felt guilty for not being able to tell him the truth.
He figured that he would tell him the truth when he brought him to Fangtasia. That would be when he would bring Xander into one of the private rooms at the back of the club and tell him everything. He would hope that Xander wouldn’t run out, because then he could get killed by a werewolf, or taken by a vampire to be fed off of. He didn’t want any of that to happen to him. He didn’t even want to feed off of him. That was awkward, he usually thought all humans were food, and nothing else, but he didn’t want Xander to be that. To Pete Xander was special. So the boy was also 19. Interesting. As he had thought, they were the same age, that was one thing they had in common. He smiled as he realized that the almost 30 year old girl was a bitch. He decided to look over at her. “I’m leaving” he said to her, not caring if she heard or not. He didn’t. He wanted to bring Xander to Fangtasia.
There was no doubt that it would happen either. “Fangtasia is amazing. it’s the most underground and exclusive club around, and I have a way to get in” He said smiling. Tonight may be the night that Xander was opened up to the complete other world that was around them. Pete smiled as he said that he was an affectionate drunk “That may work out for us then, will it not?” he questioned as he picked up his drink, and stood up straight. He drank the rest of his drink and put the glass in the sink at the far end of the bar, then walking back to the other side of the bar so he was now right next to Xander, and not having a bar between them. “Ready to go to Fangtasia?” He questioned.

Xander did, indeed, blush at Pete’s comment, silently cursing him for making Xander feel that way. He quickly studied the pattern of grooves and scratches in the wood of the bar counter, needing something, anything, to keep his mind of the boy in front of him. He was more than a little embarrassed at his current behaviour, something Xander would never admit to anyone but himself, and he didn’t completely blame the alcohol either, as Xander could hold his drink perfectly well. Raising his right hand to his mouth, he began chewing on his thumbnail, a nervous habit he had developed over the years.
His eyes lit up in slight happiness when he heard Pete announce that he was leaving. He felt a little stupid at this, remembering some phrase, a part of lyrics or something similar.. ”I’m jealous of everyone else in the room..”. Yeah, he was pretty sure that’s how it went. His body felt hot, and Xander frowned a little at the thought of how chilly outside it would feel once he left the warm club. However, his interest was piqued at the thought of Fangtasia, and he began to wonder what it looked like inside. Was everything going to be dark, musty, or strobe lit, bright flashes of every colour imaginable lighting up the place? He grinned slightly at this though, he loved going to new places, and the thought that he was going to be one of the only ones able to go in was even more exciting.
Xander stopped biting his nail and concentrated completely when Pete began to speak again, a small smile of intrigue appearing as Pete mentioned Fangtasia again, and how it was… underground and exclusive, wasn’t it? He folded his arms and leaned back, nibbling on his lower lip nervously at what Pete said about his earlier comment about him being an affectionate drunk. He was happy that Pete hadn’t taken it in the wrong way, but now he was cursing going drinking at all in the first place. He had a sudden flash of happiness as he saw Pete downing the rest of his drink, then walking to be right next to Xander. “I’m ready.” He nodded, excited. He got off the bar stool, full height finally revealed, and he felt a little embarrassed to be taller than Pete.

Pete smiled at the boy as he looked down at the wood. Pete took the boys hand without thinking and led him out of the bar. He wasn't phased by the cold, he didn't get phased by any temperature outside. He was a vampire after all. The good thing about the bar they just left was it was just down the road from Fangtasia. He loved Fangtasia, when he had someone to bring. Going there alone was boring. You couldn't show off who you brought. And needless to say even though humans weren't allowed, they let them in if they were with a vampire. You just couldn't kill in the bar.
Pete unlike most of the other vampires. He didn't like killing. And only did so when he was low on blood, or even injured. Like what had happened earlier. He hated knowing that he had killed the girl, but what was he to do? It wasn't his fault. He was the one that had gotten shot 3 times. He still had the scars to prove it. They hadn't fully healed yet. And guessing from the looks of them, it was going to take another week or two. He, for some reason, didn't want Xander to see them. Maybe because he didn't want to have to explain to Xander about that night.
Maybe Pete was ashamed of what he had done. He didn't mean to, he wasn't going to kill the boy, only feed. It never worked the way he wanted to. He stepped up to the front door of Fangtasia to see both a Vampire and Werewolf bounce. They were there to make sure that there was equality among the races. He began walking past the bouncers, not even caring if they stopped him. They bouncers looked at him. They knew him from experience. "Pete, who do you have with you this time? The vampire asked. Pete shook his head and was still holding onto Xander's hand. "Paul, Meet Xander. Xander meet Paul." Pete said nicely introducing the two before he walked past the two and into the club.
Pete turned to Xander before they had actually got near the pounding music. "Stay close, Theres some unsafe people here. Their not afraid to kidnap, and even kill people," He stated. He didn't want to scare Xander, but he didn't want anyone else to touch him either. "Where do you want to go first?" He asked. He usually never let his humans pick where they were to go in the club, he usually made them go straight to the backrooms to feed.

Xander smiled hugely at the sudden contact of Pete's hand entertwining with his own. His mind was, by now, extremely fuzzy, and all he could think about was how pleasant being with Pete was. He let himself be led out the club, shivering slightly at the cold of outside. His eyes wandered up and down Pete, wondering how it was that the boy was unfazed by the chill. However, he just let himself be content by studying his body in more detail. Xander smirked slightly to himself; alcohol definitely seemed to make him more perverted than normal. He bit his lower lip unconsciously, liking the brief burst of pain, before focusing again on Fangtasia. He could already see the entrance, light flickering from inside out.
He stayed close to Pete, enjoying the warmth off the other's body. Xander inhaled deeply, enjoying the scent of the other man. He almost considered resting his head on Pete's shoulder, but dismissed the idea; he wasn't that drunk, and it would probably just scare the bartender off. Xander felt almost predatory, like a snake in disguise, waiting for just the right time to strike. He grinned a little at that. Poor Pete, his cuteness would be his downfall. Xander liked the innocent ones the best, the feeling of power he got by taking away that innocence was almost unbelievable. He supposed he was almost like an incubus, a lesser demon but a demon nontheless.
Xander awoke from his daze as they neared the club. The pounding music by what Xander recognized to be the Prodigy was audible from even the outside of the thick, heavy door that the two bouncers were guarding. Even at his height, he felt intimidated by the surly-looking men, unnaturally so. He had the same feeling with Pete, come to think of it... whatever the feeling stemmed from, this club was bound to be of interest. Xander nodded to the two bouncers when introduced, offering a flirtatious smile and a nod of his curled head. He gave them one last grin as he followed Pete into the noise.
Instantly, Xander felt afraid. Very afraid. He began to tremble, wondering why the hell he was feeling so much in danger. His head swam for a minute before he managed to regain his senses. Listening vaguely to Pete's warnings, Xander nodded quickly, moving so close to Pete that their bodies were touching. He didn't care about body space at this moment, all he wanted to do was feel safe, and Pete managed to do just that for him. "I... I want to go wherever you go." he said, unable to keep a slight waver from entering his voice. Heart fluttering, he quickly leaned in and kissed Pete's cheek, his soft lips touching Pete's skin.

Pete could tell that Xander was afraid. He didn't want that. He smiled when Xander's body touched his own, he was sure going to listen. He didn't like it here, Pete could tell. "I... I want to go wherever you go." Pete smiled. He was cute. Xander was perfect. At least in Pete's eyes he was. He still hoped that nothing was being dragged on. He pulled Xander into the next room, the room where the band was. You would see countless vampires dancing on the dance floor with either their humans or other vampires. Pete smiled as Xander leaned in and kissed Pete on the cheek. That made Pete really happy. He now knew that he wasn't just leading him on. Pete brought him over to the bar. He knew that he wasn't going to give the teen anymore drinks. At least drinks with alcohol in them. He didn't want the boy drunk around other vampires. He didn't want other vampires near him. Pete knew almost everyone in the club. There were close together. Everyone that frequented the club knew everyone else. He just hadn't been here in a while. He smiled as the bartender moved towards the two teenagers. Pete smiled. "2 Red Bulls" he asked, knowing no more alcohol was going in his system or Xander's.
Pete watched as one of his friends that was a vampire walk up. He knew that him and his friend wouldn't talk in english near humans. That is if the other didn't know if the human knew about them. "Так, кто, мы имеем здесь?" His friend had asked Who Pete had with him.. Vampires mostly used Russian, or another older language. Most humans couldn't decipher it, unless their vampire taught them. "Xander, Он мой, ничей другая никто не может тронуть его также. Ясно дать понять" He answered back. The translations was "Xander, He's mine, no one else's no one can touch him either. Make that clear" He knew that if he told people to stay away, then they would. Pete was second in command to Mira, he didn't dare try to gain the leader's position, if he tried, even attempted to get there, he would burn. Mira's little special ability.
Pete friend just nodded. Pete turned back towards Xander hoping that he didn't confuse him too much. He leaned in towards the teen, and gave him a kiss on the cheek, before handing him the red bull. "Its actually up to you where we go, we can stay out here, and dance, or theres the back rooms, their more quiet" Pete said, leaving the entire decision up to Xander.

Xander's eyes widened slightly as he felt Pete return his kiss. His heart didn't cease its fluttering, only increased it. Feeling light headed for a moment, he leaned on Pete slightly until he got his breath back. The vodka, I'm sure of it. That's what is making me feel like this. he thought, but he wasn't so sure anymore. He was lead into the main room, where the music pounded against his body relentlessly. He was beginning to sober up slightly, colours becoming less blurry and it was becoming easier to concentrate. Xander studied the mass of bodies on the dance floor with interest, some were giving off the same dangerous air as Pete while the people they were dancing with had glazed looks in their eyes. Almost like they were being held captive by some bond or another.
Xander drew his gaze away from the crowd as Pete made his way to the bar. He stayed for a second or two longer before noticing some red eyes staring at him. Xander frowned slightly with worry before hurridly joining Pete at the bar, thanking him for the Red Bull. He pulled the metal tab off the cold, smooth can before tipping the liquid to his mouth, letting it settle on his tongue before swallowing it. He licked him lips, enjoying the sweetness of the berry-flavoured energy drink. Noticing his hand was wet from the condensation off the can, he quickly set the can back onto the table and wiped his hand on his shirt .
Teal eyes narrowed slightly, Xander felt a pang of jealousy as he watched another male come over to talk to Pete. They spoke a foreign language, Russian. He could recognize it from the times he had attended his father's business meetings with Russian officials. He smiled slightly as he heard his name being spoken by Pete, wanting desperately to kiss his lips, but he knew it certainly wouldn't be a very good idea in a public place such as this. Xander nibbled his bottom lips slightly, a spot of crimson blood appearance from his constant biting. He quickly lapped it up, however, though his lips was still red from where it had burst.
Xander smiled broadly as Pete turned back to him, the other guy walking off and rejoining the writhing biomass on the dance floor. His breath hitched a little at the kiss Pete gave him, inhaling the boy's scent as he got closer. At the prospect of joining Pete somewhere more.. private, Xander's eyes lit up. "The back rooms, maybe? I'm getting a bit of a headache from all the music.." He leaned in close in order for Pete to hear him, his breath moving the hairs on the base of Pete's neck.
