Pete watched as they ran off. He got shot at three times before the werewolf dragged off the human. Pete tried to dodge the bullets but one hit him in his arm and the other in the side. He winced in pain. He couldn't stay here, he would die from blood loss. He quickly ran around the alleyway entrance. Hearing another shot ring out and hit the wall behind him. He continued running. Many people had heard the shots and came towards the alleyway the perfect way to get a new dinner. He went back to the opening of the alleyway and hid in the darkness slightly.
"Help I've been shot. He ran out the other side" he yelled out, knowing someone would help him. They didn't know that he was a vampire. He began crawling out of the alleyway, holding onto his side. "Help, Please" he pleaded to the surrounding people. He watched as a young girl came up to him. "Are you okay? She asked him, He nodded, as she helped him up, he quickly dragged her into the alleyway making her stay silent by keeping his hand over her mouth, making sure no one would notice her absence. He quickly slammed her up against the wall and quickly let his fangs sink into her neck.
Watching as she went limp, he kept drinking, he wasn't satisfied yet. He couldn't be. He had lost about a pint of blood and he needed a good 5 pints. He only had 4 so far, enough to kill her, but not enough to drain her. Every human had about 8 pints of blood in them, enough to sate his hunger for a few days. The werewolf gets to hold her death on his conscious he thought.

"Yeah thats the point of those rounds. By your bitching, I'd guess you were hit by the silver half which means I need to get you to a hospital or somethin' soon." Bruce said as he continued running. He heard the familiar sounds of a traffic jam ahead, which was a good thing, it would make traveling by foot easier. He would just hop on top of the cars and jump from car to car. Closing the space between the darkness and the opening of the alley, Bruce saw something that made him feel great relief. There was an ambulance. They would have the medical supplies to stop the effects of the silver.
Ruching up to the vehicle, Bruce pounded on the window. The driver looked at him and rolled down the window and asked "What's wrong?" in an annoyed voice,
"This man's been shot and needs medical attention ASAP!" Bruce said as the other EMT looked over and noticed Asher bleeding and quickly got out of the vehicle and rushed to open the back.
"Set him down gently on here." the EMT signaled the stretcher and Bruce carefully set Asher down and simply said, "I hit him with a silver bullet." The EMT looked up and Bruce was gone. He had taken advantage of the momentary shock and started off for a building to climb. He was back into the dark part of the alley and took a running start at the wall and plated his feet on it as he ran up it with ease. Once on top, Bruce immediately pulled out the Colt and reloaded it. He was running low on ammo and needed to make more.

Asher felt safe now that he was in the ambulance. He felt like such a fool falling for a trick like that. He didn't get the chance to thank the werewolf but he got the distinct feeling that he would see him again and the vampire. "You wouldn't believe the night Ive had." He said to the EMT that was checking him over.
Asher's head hurt , his arm hurt and he was tired to. He laid down on the stretcher and closed his eyes for a moment. Asher never wanted to get involved with this kind of stuff but it found its way to him after all Werewolves and vampires and who knows what other monsters lurk out there in the dark. He clenched his fist tightly next time he wouldn't be such easy prey.

Pete had just finished draining the girl. He didn't have her death on his conscious. The werewolf had forced him to kill. He hadn't needed to, but he did after he was shot 3 times, and hadn't fed in a little over a week. He had just drained an innocent girl. It could have been avoided it the werewolf hadn't interrupted. He smiled, blood staining his fangs. He needed to cover up the bites on the girls neck. He didn't want the authorities to know that he would kill, if necessary.
Pete knew that the werewolf wouldn't be back for a little. Throwing the girl down the alleyway, not caring what she broke, she was dead. Completely drained. Nothing could have stopped him, he was under a blood lust. He had sated his hunger, but not the rage. He didn't like killing, but he would, he was different from other vampires. He would kill, but he didn't want to. He began walking back out of the alleyway, making sure that all the spots that he was shot in, had healed, or partially. Having fed after getting shot had reduced the damage it did on his organs. He would live, but he would have to feed again in a few days.

Asher lay silently in his hospital room bed. He had arrived an hour earlier. The doctors had immediately began treating him with antibiotics to fight any infection or disease they also removed the bullet fragment's a very painful process since there were so many. Asher looked down at his heavily bandaged shoulders it would leave a beauty of a scar but that didn't bother him he was used to scars and pain.
Asher picked up the silver fragment from the tray near his bed. He examined it closely and gruesome souvenir from his near death experience. Two times in his life he has come close to death and he wasn't even eighteen yet. What was he going to do now? Could he go back to a normal life knowing what almost happened to him most certainly happened to someone else tonight. Atleast if this vamp had fed on Asher he'd still be alive but for him not to be fed apon cost the life of a another someone completely innocent that didn't deserve to die. Suddenly Asher was overcome by guilt.

Bruce just sat on the ledge of a building, finally registering what he had done. He had almost killed one human and had definitely gotten another killed. It seemed he was slowly getting worse at his self-appointed job. Last week he had killed an innocent child by accident. He was chasing another vampire and the kid got pushed in front of an oncoming semi, Bruce didn't see it happen. When he heard the trucks air horn and brakes, he stopped and turned around to see that the kid was gone. . there was nothing left to him literally. It was just like the scene from the Bride of Chucky, when the teens friend walks out into the road backwards and get obliterated by the semi.
Bruce just sighed "Just another life on my conscious to deal with" he said before standing up and jumped to a different rooftop. He was going to stay out for maybe another half hour or hour. He was getting pretty bored just looking around the city not finding anything. Besides he longed to get back to Mira, he would've leaved at that moment if he didn't have at least a small amount of self-control. He utilized his self-control just a little, so he could hold off going back to Mira's until he saw there was nothing else he could do for teh time being.

Pete walked out of the Alley since he had no more blood dripping down his body he felt much better. No only did he get more blood than he would have from the boy, he also killed. He loved the sensation of killing and he was still in a rampage. He wanted to kill the boy and the werewolf now. The boy because it would be revenge for the werewolf saving him and the werewolf because he interrupted his dinner, and gave him a few new scars for the night. The only advantage that the werewolf and the human had, were that they could be out at day.
He would be confined in his coffin hidden. He would be in a forced sleep. He could be killed, especially since he didn't have any Human Escorts. He planned on seeing the Vampire Leader Mira later in the night, to see if she knew any humans that could watch over him. Or at least another species could. It was his downfall that he didn't trust humans and didn't like escorts. He actually wanted to get that done ASAP. He began walking towards Mira's house hoping that she would be there.

The thirty minutes was ticking by slowly, like syrup would after being in the freezer all day. He almost gave in to the urge to head back to Mira's, but he had to stick through this. He wanted to at least kill one supernatural being tonight, preferably a naturi, but he didn't see that happening. So he just stood there over looking the citizens of the city like a quiet hero. Though he didn't believe he was a hero, if anything he was more of a monster. He knew he wouldn't fit in with the humans and he didn't want to. He was content with the way he lived his life so far, but he overjoyed that he was dating Mira. He was planning on going out and looking for a surprise for her in the near future, if he could ever wake up during the day hours.
He looked down and noticed a cop car stop and shine it's spotlight up the building he was standing on. Quickly he stepped back from the edge and turned to another building and jumped to it's roof. He walked to the edge and noticed several people were looking up confused at what they just saw. To the normal human eye he seemed like regular human that liked to wear a leather vest. This was the form he stayed in most of the time. He didn't trust his wolf form at all, too much innocent blood had covered his fur and he wanted to make sure that no more would. Granted there were times when he couldn't resist the urge to transform, which he did in n abandoned warehouse where he could learn to control his anger and bloodlust. Yet so far it proved to be futile. He looked back down at the crowd and someone pointed up at him, which immediately drew several sets of eyes to rest on him. Bruce just smirked and turned around and headed back to Mira's.
"They got this for tonight" Bruce said to himself.

Pete had just reached Mira's house/apartment. He didn't care which it was. He walked in, up a few flight of stairs and knocked on her door. He had know Mira for a while. He had talked to before. Lets put it that way. No vampire wanted to fuck with Mira. She could kill any one of them in a instant. Well only if they did something wrong, like kill and leave evidence, or turn a human and abandon them. He hadn't made a vampire yet, like Mira. He didn't want a family.
He had heard some footsteps coming towards the door. He didn't know if it was one of her human escorts or if it was her boyfriend. He had only heard rumors about him though. He hoped it was an escort or Mira herself.

Miras new escort Steve unlocked the door and opened it half way keeping himself between Pete and the room Mira was in. Looking at the guy he looked back and yelled at Mira. Telling her that it was a young vampire. Steve was Miras new guy. After Michaels death caused by him saving her from a light naturi. Mira still hated the fact that her beloved Michael was taken from her so early in life. She couldn't let the thought that she was taking away his life because he was always guarding her instead of living a life like a human was supposed to. As Mira looked over the guy she was talking tos shoulder she motioned for Steve to let him in. Steve steeped aside and let Pete inside closing it when he was completely inside and walked over to Mira quickly. Miras other body guard was there beside her as she finished her conversation with the human.
Mira shook the guys hand and walked him to the door with an arm around his shoulders. Opening the door she had a few words to the human be for he turned around and walked off. After he was no were to be seen Mira shut the door and walked back in walking passed Pete a second time without saying a word to him. Picking up the paperwork from her bed she put them into a nice neat pile and set them in a file in her dresser before looking back at Pete and crossing her arms. She leaned all her weight on one side and looked at Pete up and down only twice before she realized who was standing be for her. It was Pete a vampire who she had problems with every know and then. He did not like humans to much and only thought of them as food like cattle was to humans. It was mostly true but Mira had to remind him time and time again that he too was once human before he was turned into what he was now. Walking closer to him she motioned her human guards to stay were they were and placed herself in between him and them. Though she was sure he could hold himself back she could tell that he was truly hungry for food.
"So Pete what brings you here to my little house?"

Bruce jumped from building to building to building trying to suppress the feeling of guilt that was pressing in on him. He was winning that battle due to the fact that he already felt more guilt than any human did and he damn well felt more than most vampires. At least he was almost back to Mira's, though she no doubt was talking to numerous humans and such. He landed right on a building a block or two away from Mira's before he jumped down to the streets below. Several people looked at him weird, but he just continued on his way. He could smell somethings familiar, like the fish that were usually in the dumpster or the scent of humans. It was all around him, then a scent oddly familiar entered his nostrils. He had smelt it before, very recently, and he knew it didn't belong here.
Walking up to the door, he entered and hiked the staircase. The scent was getting stronger and something was nagging at him about it. Then it was masked by Mira's scent and he hurried the rest of the way up the stairs. He stopped at the door and knocked, he did that as a precaution for the new guy that was protecting Mira. He didn't want to walk in and put the guy to the ground and break something, not when he was this new. He did that with Micheal a couple times, but that was just for fun. He grew to like Mike, but he was killed protecting Mira. Bruce was eternally grateful that the man had done that. The door opened slightly and Steve's face appeared.
"Hey Steve." Bruce simply stated.

Pete smiled at the human. Of course it was her Bodyguard or escort, whatever the vampire decided to call them. He heard him yell for Mira, knowing exactly what he wanted. It was great. They knew he was a vampire. Or just wanted to talk to Mira. He walked in when Mira motioned to Steve, that he could. He walked in and leaned against a wall. Mira had to deal with a separate ordeal. Or so it seemed. It was just another Human. Pete watched them closely. She shook his hand and showed him the door.
She then walked back to her bed. Not a coffin. Odd. Last he knew she always slept in a coffin, and when traveling a stainless steel coffin that locked from the inside, so no one could get to her, unless they cut through the coffin. He smiled at her, it was for her boyfriend. He wasn't a vampire, and this proved it. She didn't get security in a bed though, no matter who was next to her. It didn't seem like she remembered him at first, she should have, she's had to track him down plenty of times. To warn him.
She could also tell the he was low on his blood. Or rather low compared to what he wanted. He smiled even more, showing fangs when she stood between him and her humans. "Mira, Mira, Mira." Pete said laughing. He found it funny that she worried about his control. "I think its sweet that your worried about your humans, but I'm here for business. I need at least 2 Guards for me. I promise they will be kept in tact, and not bitten, unless they offer." He said. He didn't feel safe knowing that some werewolf was after him.
He heard another knock on the door and watched as the human went pass him and opened the door. He heard the werewolf's voice. He instantly turned towards the door. He didn't like the werewolf and didn't want him near the vampire leader. Let alone someone as powerful as Mira. He wouldn't let that happen. Pete instantly stopped leaning against the wall. He pulled out a knife, knowing perfectly well what layed in store. Double Shell Bullets. One silver, another regular steel. They stung when they hit, and caused chaos in a body, unless of coarse you got blood in their system. Which he had.

Asher closed his eyes as he felt the massive pill slide down his throat. The doctor had come in and made him swallow it for pain even though Asher wasn't in any. The moment the doctor was gone Asher got out of the bed and tore of the hospital gown. He looked down at his waist notice the scar from his car accident years ago. He traced its outline with his finger around his back.
He shook his head out of his daze of remembrance and grabbed his shirt pulling it on. He knew cops had to be on the way he was a gunshot victim after all but he didn't want to be asked alot of questions he didn't want to deal with the cops at all. Asher walked over to the window and then turned back and grabbing the bullet fragment's on the nearby tray. He slid the window open and looked down it was a short drop shouldn't hurt him. He jumped and landed in the bushes and running into the dark night.

So Pete needed a guard for his protection huh, because of a werewolf. That was funny. Why in the world would a vampire and a werewolf get into a fight while the world was in war itself? While Mira flipped the question in her head and thinking of her own question for the young vampire there was a knock at the door. Mira looked over at her Guard Steve as he walked over to the door and opened it. Looking over Steve's shoulder from where she was she could tell that it was her lover. His scent ran across the room and his voice as he spoke was as loving as it always was. Yes it was true her lover was a werewolf himself which in return could end up killing her if an earth naturi entered the area and took control of him. But that didn't worry Mira that much anymore. Mira took a step to wards the door when she noticed that Pete drew a knife out for his pocket. Was Bruce the werewolf that Pete needed protection from?
Or was it that Pete was just being protective of her? Either way there was gong to be no fighting in her house while she was there. It was nice and all that Pete was acting the way he was in order to protect her ... if that was what was really happening. Moving from were she had stood over to Steve she placed a hand on her body guards shoulder and told him and the other body guard to walk out and leave the trio alone for a bit. As they walked out Mira stayed on guard in case either one went at each other. Once the two were gone she let Bruce in gave him a kiss on the cheek and then walked back over to where she had been standing before looking at the two of them.
"Please Pete there will be no fighting in my house while I'm here and what is this about a werewolf coming after you? I will gladly give you two guards if you need though you know the consequences if either happen to disappeared and it was because of you."

Bruce walked in the door and was bombarded with the different scents from the traffic that was always in Mira's place. He knew the usual scents, like Steve's, the other guard, an dof course Mira's, but there was the familiar scent from outside that finally clicked in his mind and it made him growl. Walking at a brisk pace, he unholstered his Colt and entered the room that the scent was strongest in. He pulled back the hammer, ready to fire at the vampire he knew was a threat, if he got a shot in he would make it a clean one and finish this prick once and for all.
Stepping into the room, he instantly spotted the vampire and aimed at him."You." He growled menacingly at the vampire. He tensed his arm, almost shooting when he saw the knife in it's hand. Bruce stepped in front of Mira to protect her from, what he thought was, an intruder. Especially one that he had shot at least once, he didn't bother to check if the other two had hit. He was too busy at the time getting the human to the ambulance to really care. Then Mira said something that shocked him. She evidently knew this vampire and asked for them not to start a fight inside her home. Bruce was surprised, but he pulled back the hammer and slowly let it go back to the safe position and holstered his Colt.
He knew had terrible her anger was and he didn't want to it anytime soon. It was one of the only things he feared, but he could usually calm her before she did something that they would both regret. Looking at the vampire, Bruce stuck out his hand trying to seem friendly "Sorry bout earlier, I was just doin' my job."Bruce growled. He still stood in front of Mira.
