Pete was walking down the street. Passing a bunch of alleyways. It was a normal night for him at least. For a certain human it wouldn't be. But that's ok. He could just erase their memory of it, and hopefully go peacefully along. or so he hoped. Things never usually worked out that way. He knew something would happen to ruin his night. He watched as he saw his victim begin walking towards an alley that Pete had stopped near. He slowly walked into the alley.
He took out a flashlight. Standard trick he could use. As the human was near the entrance of the alleyway he flashed the flashlight real quick hoping to get his attention. When the human was at the entrance he once again flashed it. Watching the human carefully. Would he fall for the trick? Pete hoped so, he was hungry.

Asher had been out walking to clear his head after a particularly bad day of school. It was dark out but that hadn't stopped him not on this cool night. There weren't that many people out on the street not at this time of night any way so he felt he was pretty safe from any danger and even if there was Asher thought he could handle himself pretty good.
Asher had stopped in front of an Alley entrance. He had thought he had heard a click a moment ago. The wind blew a cold dark breeze ruffling his dark hair Asher turned and looked down into the alley it was completely dark he couldn't see that well. He let out a quick breath and was turning to leave when he saw a light flash on and off. "Hello is some one down there?" He asked leaning forward to peer deeper into the alley.

Pete loved Curious people. Especially curious humans. He couldn't wait to bite down into the boys neck, since he hadn't fed in a few days. He was one of the vampires that didn't keep human companions around. He hid. During the light he didn't have anyone protect him, and he guessed that he probably should. It would work out better.
He turned on and off the light again, hoping to draw the human into the alley. He decided that more persuasion could be used. "Help, Help Me" He said using a girly voice, or masking his voice to sound like a girls. It would hopefully lead the boy into the alley to his own doom.

Asher's gut said to run but he didn't he felt a strange pull to go down the alley but he didn't do that ether. So he stood there half wanting to leave and the other half wanting to travel the dark dank alley way. He started to sweat as he fought off his better judgment and took a step forward. If someone really was hurt down there he wasn't going to leave them there.
"Whats wrong are you hurt?" Asher said as he inched is way down the tunnel it stunk of garbage making his nose curl up. He slid his hands into the pockets on the sides of his tight leather pants. His boots echoed with each step he took splashing in nasty puddles of water at least he hoped it was water.

Pete Smiled. The boy was slowly making his way down the alley. "He dragged me down here, but i can't see anything" He said mocking the girl voice again. It was one of the vampires specialty. They could mimic almost anything and anyone. Pete could sound British right now if he wanted. But he didn't. He hoped that the boy would walk about 3 more feet forward so Pete could grab him. He was so close.
Pete sniffed the air. He could smell the sweet smell of the blood pumping through the boys veins. He could tell that he couldn't let himself go this long without feeding again, because if he went to a public place, and was like this. He would snap and kill the nearest person. He hated not knowing if he would snap and feed off some random person or not. It wasn't like he had to keep it hidden. Everyone knew of vampires.

Asher swallowed hard. He didn't feel right but he kept moving any way completely enticed. His heart thumped inside his head and he felt his blood rush through his veins. He was breathing hard and he felt his skin begin to heat up. Something wasn't right but he didn't know what it was.
Asher's lips were dry he licked them as he went to speak again. "Who did this and whats your name?" He said almost whispering. A bead of sweat rolled down his brow and dropped into a puddle to Asher it sounded like a window breaking. He stopped where he stood as hairs raised up on the back of his neck. "Something isnt right." He said to himself.

Pete could tell that the boy was getting nervous and worried. He could tell something was wrong. Pete began to get mad. Was his dinner going to get away from him? This couldn't happen. He needed this meal, otherwise he would kill the next person he fed off of. "This Guy, i don't know him. It was scary" He mocked again. He was hoping that it was working. Otherwise he was screwed and would have to make a run for the boy.
"I'm Kait" He mimicked, using one of his past victims names. This was easy. Or so he thought. When the boy stopped. Pete swore under his breath. He was a matter of a foot away from him. A foot and he would have been bitten. Pete kicked a can out and had it roll down the alley way away from the boy. Making it sound like he walked, or ran down the alley way away from him.

Bruce jumped from rooftop to rooftop, listening, smelling. Nothing out of the ordinary tonight, people were going about their nightly business and so on. he stopped to sniff the air again, all that came to his nostrils was the foul stench of exhaust, urine, and vomit. "Perfect place for an ambush." Bruce thought out loud. He wished he knew where Mira was, he hoped she was alright, but he knew she could handle herself. Then he caught a faint scent, it was a particularly familiar one. Vampire. Though he knew it was some other vamp, it wasn't the smell of his lover. Following his nose, Bruce jumped a few more rooftops and spotted the figures.
Quickly he checked his Colt, taking the barrel off, he saw the five shimmering children of death. Each was a mixture of silver and steel, the metals didn't bond very well and would split on impact, causing severe damage. But that was if they hit and nine times out of ten he hit his mark.Putting the barrel piece back on the single action revolver, Bruce jumped down to a fire escape on one of the buildings and waited. He saw the human inching his way down the alley and he located what he believed to be the vampire, but he didn't take any actions. He had to be sure this time, he wasn't going to take another innocent life if he could help it. Then a can was kicked away from the the huddled figure, This one knows what they're doing" Bruce smirked as he took out his Colt and drew back the hammer aiming at teh huddled figure.

"I'm Asher." Asher spoke and held his hand out in front of him in a nonthreatening manner. He took a breath and took another step and then heard what he thought would have been a can skittering on the ground like some one was backing up. "You don't have to be afraid I'm not gonna hurt you." Then he wasn't sure but he thought he heard something else a slight click he wasn't sure though.
Asher stopped again and looked up toward where he thought he might of heard this sound. He couldn't see anything not in this darkness. His human eyes falling prey to no light on this dark and dreary night. He smiled at the little rhyme maybe he'd write a poem about this. If he lived he lowered his gaze back down the alley his purple eyes flashing for a moment.

Pete smiled. So the boys name was Asher. How cute. The boy held out his hand and Pete immediately smiled. As soon as the can was heard by the boy, they boy had sighed. Pete hoped that he could walk about 2 more steps forward soon, he was getting anxious and very hungry. Pete heard the click of a gun. He quickly jumped out of his spot and went to grab Asher. Hoping that any bullets shot would be misses. Or at least not fatal. He hated getting shot, and with the little amount of blood he had in him. It wasn't good.
As Pete tried to grab Asher he looked up. "Hello Werewolf. Up to no good?" He said as he was right behind Asher. Blocking the lighter path of the alley, the only way he could go was out the dark side, and he couldn't see worth shit. So Pete of course had the advantage.

The vampire had heard the hammer, something that Bruce had expected. He didn't pull the trigger, not yet at least. Instead he jumped down and landed near perfection on the wet cement ground of the alley. Wrinkling his nose back he commented "Funny, I was about to ask the same, guess it must be feeding time for the poor bloodsucker. Man this place smells like shit. You know how the perfect places to mask your scent vampire. There's just one problem though, most vampire scents smell far worse than this trash."
Raising his revolver, he first pointed it at the side of the vampires head, but there wasn't a big enough target to cause serious enough damage. Then he aimed at the young mans shoulder, it would hurt like a bitch for him, but he would survive. As for the vampire, well if he was this hungry, then the damage from the two halves of the bullet would probably kill him. Playing with the thought in his head for a little longer, Bruce asked,"No back-up?" before he fired at the young man's shoulder.

Asher's heart pounded in his head and sweat rolled of his face. Vampires and Werewolves he shoulda known better than to come down this stupid alley his good nature had gotten the better of him however. He looked behind him and saw the vamp blocking his way he could he was tall but that was about all he could in this darkness.
Asher then looked forward there was Werewolf abit in human form. Atleast from the way there talking there not friends Asher though to himself. He didn't know if the werewolf was saving him or just stealing the vamps prey for himself. If he was saving him then Asher would remember to think him. He gazed down at the werewolf's gun it was pointed at him well at his shoulder. The he saw the barrel of the gun flash and a loud pop as the bullet flew straight at his shoulder. He didn't feel anything at first no pain just a warming sensation and thats when it hit like a sledge hammer. Asher gasped for breathed and knelt to the ground his hand covering his wounded and bleeding shoulder. "Jesus Christ." He whispered barely able to speak the pain was incredible.

Pete smiled. "Yes it is feeding time, i haven't fed in about a week." He said. He couldn't wait any longer. He needed to feed, or kill. One of the two, both would be great, but he wouldn't kill the boy, he would let him live, if he even got to feed off of him. Pete highly doubted that though, the werewolf was a problem. Pete heard the trigger click, but the shards of the bullet were too fast. Pete couldn't dodge them.
One went through Asher. Going straight into Pete's sternum, the other shard, going into Pete's arm. Pete watched as Asher fell to the ground on his knees. "Fuck," Pete screamed. "Werewolf, you do realized you sealed someone elses fate right?" Pete questioned. He hoped that the werewolf realized now Pete would have to kill a human the next time he fed. He didn't want to. He was trying to avoid that. He didn't want to have to deal with drama about a vampire killing. It didn't seem right, Humans were food, but in Moderation. Not everyone killed for their food.

Bruce smirked slightly as the bullet did its job and hit hit the vampire. Unfortunately he had to bring Asher to a hospital and damn quick too. Bruce wasn't sure if he was hit by the silver or the steel portion of the bullet, but he didn't want to take any chances. The only response to the vampire Bruce had was to pull back the hammer again and fire two shots. He then quickly rushed up to Asher and picked him up off the ground. He fired one more shot at the vampire to try and keep it back long enough for them to make it back to the street.
Bruce put Asher over his shoulder and ran, firing his last shot back at the vampire. He didn't like to wast ammo, but he wasn't sure if the vampire would chase them down or not. Holstering his Colt, Bruce continued to run through the dark part of the alley. he used his heightened senses to avoid anything that would cause him to hurt either himself or the wounded human over his shoulder. He saw light from a street lamp ahead, "Sorry, had to shoot you to hit the vampire behind you. Just hang in a little longer"

Asher ground his teeth to keep from screaming. "Is it supposed to hurt this damn much." He managed to say after catching his breath. He still had his hand over the wound and the blood was flowing freely running down inside of his shirt covering his chest. He had to close his eyes if he saw the blood he might pass out and he couldn't take the risk right now.
Asher began to feel lightheaded. Blood loss was beginning to take its hold and his body felt cold. He reached down into his pocket and pull out a syringe full of Insulin maybe it would help a little bit. He pulled the cap off and speared the needle into his leg and pushing the plunger injecting the medicine inside of his body.
